ProIO is pleased to share a new utility plugin for the Q-SYS platform: Smart Switch.
Building on the idea of using a simple Flip-Flop to perform complex control actions such as room automation in conference systems, or managing power states of devices, the Smart Switch includes some important features that makes life easier for both system integrators and users.
The Smart Switch features press-and-hold buttons with definable hold durations. This prevents accidental triggers on touchscreens from powering off a system while in use. Filters for "re-triggering" can either allow or prevent the outputs from affecting downstream control pins. Each output features several different types of signals such as setting boolean states to On or Off with a configurable built-in delay time.
As this is a valuable tool for any system, ProIO is pleased to release this plugin on our Pay What You Want pricing plan allowing users to support the product at a price point that is in line with their expectations.
